ABOUT US
Our History
Bridge Valley was established with the vision from Allan and Stephanie Moore to have a teen ranch where kids from the town could come to the country to experience country life while being introduced to Jesus. The Moore’s family land was donated for this purpose, and a dedicated team of willing volunteers with many different skills gave time, resources, and money to create the backbone of what Bridge Valley is today.
Bridge Valley was officially opened in 1982. Bridge Valley has had a number of directors over the years and many people in leadership who have given their time and expertise to work, teach, inspire, and encourage the many young people who have passed through the doors. The venue has also been used for a variety of purposes such as accommodation, entertainment, training, and teaching.
Our Mission
Our mission statement is “to challenge and inspire people from all walks of life, physically, socially, spiritually, and mentally, in an environment of adventure, where Christian values are promoted.”
Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A city lying on a hill is not able to be hidden. Nor do they burn a lamp and put it under the basket, but on the lampstand— and it shines on all the ones in the house. In this manner, let your light shine in front of people so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in the heavens.
We believe that every person is uniquely created by God with strengths that bless the people around them. We desire to see these unique qualities realised and utilised for their community.
